New Product Development Process Manager – NPD

Looking to put your NPD skills to work in an innovative organisation? We are looking for a New Product Development Process Manager to collaboratively grow and develop new products for both existing and new customer basis. You will be working as part of a strong tem within an established baked goods manufacturer in Gwynedd, North Wales.

In the NPD Process Manager job you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the innovation process to deliver new product launches
  • Building relationships with key customer contacts and ensuring compliance with their internal systems as well as the company’s own
  • Understanding budgets (company and customer) and drafting business case plans for proposed launches
  • Being aware of relevant legislation
  • Managing the NPD bakery and its team
  • Attending internal and customer factory trials
  • Being aware of the external competitive environment, what competitors are doing/planning
  • Writing detailed product briefs for product launches
  • Arranging quarterly range reviews

To be successful in this NPD Process Manager job you will need:

  • A genuine and demonstrable enthusiasm for NPD of baked goods
  • Previous NPD process experience with developing baked goods products
  • Experience working with the 4 major food retailers
  • Line management experience
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • To be innovative, proactive and self-motivated

This is a permanent full-time position and a salary of £40000 - £50000/year is on offer along with 33 days holidays.
