Our client is looking for an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the effective running of their Day Shift Operation.
Our client is a well-established catering business based in Irlam.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:00pm, and 1 out of 3 Saturdays
Main responsibilities:
Prepare and plan production for the factory, including all food manufacturing processes
Agree and set KPI targets with the General Manager and Operations Director
To liaise with the technical department
Report to weekly management meetings
To liaise with team leaders overseeing any production issues
Work with the Sales and New Product Development Team on menu development ideas
To work to and deliver agreed budget targets for costs
Administrate holiday shift patterns in line with company policy
Liaise with HR regarding timekeeping, absences, discipline, and grievance
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
Experience working with fresh foods
Able to work in a cold environment
Management or supervisory experience
The ability to motivate others and lead from the front
