​I am looking to fill an exciting role of HR Advisor with one of my clients, a reputable and thriving organisation based in Manchester.

This role is to start in May/June, and they are looking for the right person to join their HR function.

As a role of HR Advisor this role is a busy and varied role and the days will consist of a number of duties that effectively make a HR function run.

For this role you will need to be CIPD qualified up to Level 5 as a minimum and you will also need to drive and have assess to a car due to having to visit their other site about 35 miles away a couple of times a month. This is an office-based role 100% and offers no Hybrid/Remote working.

Key Responsibilities for the role of HR Advisor:

• Support the Group HR Manager to deliver people-related processes

• Coordinate and support the on going recruitment process

• Onboard newcomers to the company and perform staff inductions

• Provide the necessary support systems for payroll requirements

• Assist with the performance management and review process

• Maintain systems to keep employee records updated in line with GDPR

• Maintain awareness of employment law and keep up to date with changes

• Participation in disciplinary, grievance, conciliation and mediation meetings, ensuring that investigations and with any actions, disciplinary or otherwise, are properly conducted, documented and recorded.

• Support the site management teams day to day HR issues

• Support other colleagues within the business to resolve challenging issues related to the employment and dismissal of staff.

• Deliver the occupational health programme at each site

• Oversee the holiday administration

• Overseeing staff attendance and absence monitoring.

• Providing detailed HR reports to senior management teams.

As well as being CIPD qualified up to level 5 you also need to have over 2 years of experience in an active HR Role.

•Being competent at building and managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organisation.

•A working knowledge of employment law and human resource management practices

•Full clean driving licence

•Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

•IT Literate with the ability to use a range of packages applicable to the role

•A working knowledge of Health & Safety rules and regulations, Environmental and Quality Standards
