Recruit Right are recruiting on behalf of their Irlam based client for an experienced and committed Night Shift Manager.
The business, which is a Catering Butcher, has over 100 years’ experience in the meat and farming industries. All products are prepared, packaged, and labelled daily to each customers specifications and above legislation and then delivered direct throughout the UK.

As a Night Shift Manager your hours of work will be: Monday to Friday, 19:00 – 05:00, however the role will require to you be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
Duties will include:
Responsible for ensuring the full order completion in line with critical time dispatches
Responsible for the night loading and trunking operation, liaising with the Group Transport Manager
To meet KPI targets both agreed and set with the General manager and Operations Director
To work with and deliver agreed budget targets for staff costs and head counts
To manage and control all aspects of production work carried out on the night shift
To liaise with the technical department
Develop and improve the skill levels of all staff
Report to weekly management meetings on all aspects of the night shift operations performance
Oversee the night input clerks liaising directly with the Telesales Manager
Interact with customers through telephone communications
Co-ordinate holiday shift patterns in accordance with company policy, ensuring that all necessary cover is in place
To liaise with HR regarding timekeeping, absences, complying with the Company Absence Procedure & Policy, Discipline and Grievance
Full training will be provided, and whilst there are no formal qualifications required for this role, management or supervisory experience in operations or production is advantageous. Significant experience supervising or managing staff is desirable.
