The business, which is a Catering Butcher, has over 100 years’ experience in the meat and farming industries. All products are prepared, packaged, and labelled daily to each customers specifications and above legislation and then delivered direct throughout the UK.

As an Order Make Up Supervisor your hours of work will be:
Sunday, 12:00 – 20:00
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 08:00 – 18:00
Friday, 08:00 – 20:00
OR
Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, 10:00 – 20:00
Wednesday, 08:00 – 18:00
however, the role will require to you be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
Duties will include:
Responsible for ensuring the full order completion in line with critical time dispatches
Administrate holiday shift patterns in accordance with company policy ensuring that all necessary cover is in place
To liaise on a day-to-day basis with the Production Manager on required stock levels and key line requirements
To liaise with the technical department on labelling requirements
To work on developing and improve the skill level of all staff
Liaise with HR regarding timekeeping & absences to comply with the Company Absence Procedure & Policy
To ensure a succession plan is in place so adequate holiday/absence cover is always available
Deputise for the Order Make-Up Manager
To report on business KPIs as appropriate
Full training will be provided, and whilst there are no formal qualifications required for this role, supervisory experience in fast-paced production is advantageous. Significant experience supervising or managing staff is desirable.
You will need:
Good communication skills and the ability to develop good working relationships with managers
To demonstrate a willingness to embrace change and develop people within your team
The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Good numeracy and literacy skills
To be able to work both individually and as part of a team
Experience of managing an order picking operation would be advantageous, but is not essential
