This is a brand-new position for a PR Manager to join the marketing team and is an exciting opportunity for someone who has creative energy and a love of PR.
The role/duties will include but are not limited to;
Responsible for earning brand online press and industry coverage
Create and execute PR campaign ideas
Creativity to generate ideas for digital PR campaigns that earn coverage from top-tier publications and industry press
Integrating with the other functions in the team, including outreach, SEO, content writing, and social media
Build relationships with journalists and pitch to relevant media titles
Offering media awareness training to staff who are involved in PR campaigns
Monitoring the news agenda and researching different news topics in order to create ideas for newsjacking
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following attributes;
Minimum 3 years commercial experience working in PR (either agency or client side)
Knowledge of the media landscape and how journalists work
Creative in all PR activities around strategies and campaigns
Confident using PR tools
Excellent standard of written content, with a background of writing press releases, pitches, and longer form content
A good decision maker and able to use own initiative
