The Role

• Providing up-to-date and accurate company accounts and tax returns.

• Engaging with self-employed and limited company clients.

• Managing day-to-day queries from clients relating to cash flow, tax advice (company and personal), VAT, PAYE, CIS and accounts treatment.

• Provide accounting support to our portfolio of clients via email and telephone.

• Assist with self-assessment tax returns.

• Preparing statutory accounts including tax computations for year-end and cessation accounts.

• Communicating with HMRC regarding our client's business and personal tax.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role dealing with client accounts.

• Qualified through professional bodies (e.g. AAT, ACCA) or via direct experience.

• Strong Excel skills including V Lookups and Pivot Tables

• Familiarity with accounting software (Free Agent is desirable)

The Package

• Basic salary up to £38,000.

• Hybrid working options

• Monday to Friday (37.5 hrs)
