​PRODUCTION staff supplied by Recruit Right have been taken on by a dynamic Wirral company to help move it forward on its growth path.

The Birkenhead-based Funky Nut Company is already spreading its brand across the world, producing an innovative range of peanut butters at its dockside factory on the West Float Industrial Estate.

General production staff engaged by Recruit Right are now working to supply global demand for Funky Nut’s range of natural peanut butters manufactured under its own brand name as well as for other brands across the UK, Europe and Australia.

Managing director Julian Campbell said: “Although we’ve only been in existence for four years, the business has begun to expand at such a rate that we needed more production workers to cope with demand.

“In the past six months our permanent team here at East Float has almost doubled and more staff are likely to come on board across all areas of the business.

“The great thing is that everyone we employ lives locally. That applies to our permanent staff as well as those supplied by Recruit Right – and this policy will be part of our plans as we take on more to people to move the business on through the next stages of its expansion.”
