Alisha moves upwards in Recruit Right talent pool

Alisha Upton, who started work with the business as an apprentice administrator, is now on track to become a resourcer and recruiter at the operation’s Birkenhead head office.

After gaining her Level 2 Business & Administration qualification – and currently awaiting her Level 3 – Alisha is among members of the Recruit Right workforce whose journey with the company began with an apprenticeship and now sees them playing vital parts in its current growth.

Director Helen Cornah said: “Alisha is a true Recruit Right success story and a typical example of how the decision to grow our own talent pool has proved to be the right one.

“From the first day of operation we made a bold decision to put young people at the heart of our future development and take on apprentices so they could be trained and advanced in their jobs with the right work ethic.

“Alisha’s path has taken her from a young trainee to becoming a qualified administrator, playing an important part in the day-to-day running of our head office, and is now being trained for a demanding role as part of our highly-skilled recruitment team.”

Alisha, 26, has been with Recruit Right for six years where, she says, her apprenticeship helped her develop planning and research skills as well as giving her confidence and the ability for self-management in an intensive workplace environment.

She said: “The great thing about this job is working as a team and contributing to how we come together to get the best for employers and people seeking work.

“As a recruiter, I particularly like to see candidates happy, knowing we have found them the jobs they want.”
