Are you an experienced Head of Procurement looking for a new opportunity?
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Head of Procurement to identify, manage and develop supplier relationships and to manage a team of 5 people.
Responsibilities:
Identifying the right suppliers for the right products - including negotiation, product range, costs, credit terms and delivery schedules
Manage stock levels, identify shortages, and form action plans to amend any issues
Analyse sales data, identifying trends and forecast customer demand in line with factory plans
The ideal candidate must have previous precuring meat or fish, and will be able to demonstrate:
IT literate (MS Office and experience of ERP)
Good communication and experience of people management
Ability to develop good working relationships at all levels
A strong commercial understanding of the business and manufacturing processes and procedures
Experience with FMCG is desirable
Base working hours: Mon - Fri, 7:00am-4:00pm and one three Saturdays 7:00am-12:00
